Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
